Your data, in plain English.
What we collect
When you donate, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and card details in order to take the payment. We receive the name, email, amount, and which programme you chose. We never receive or store your full card number.
What we do with it
We use your email to send a receipt, and — if you gave monthly — occasional short updates on what your giving paid for. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade donor data with anyone, ever, for any amount of money.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept for as long as charity and tax law requires us to keep them, and no longer. Marketing contact details are deleted as soon as you ask.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@goodwardfoundation.org and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from every email we send with one click, and cancelling a monthly gift never requires a conversation.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages for fraud prevention, which is a necessary part of taking a payment safely.
Photographs
The photographs on this site are licensed stock images of models, not of people we support. We never publish an identifiable photograph of someone we work with without their written, informed consent, and we remove it the day they ask us to.
